Meet Our Vocation Team
Brother David Henley, Director
Brother David Henley a native of Columbus, Ohio, assumed the position of vocation director on June 1, 2010 and is living in Cincinnati. He has been a Glenmary missioner for over seven years. "Glenmary has been such a good fit for me," says Brother David, "I can't imagine doing anything else." He hopes, as vocation director, to share the joy he has found in religious life with others. "It's exciting to be able to invite men to join what I feel is a great community with a tremndous mission and ministry!"

Patrick McEntee, Associate Director
Patrick McEntee, originally from Covington, Ky., received his pastoral ministry degree from the University of Dayton. He has spent the past 10 years serving young people at the junior high, high school and college levels as a retreat leader, campus minister and/or religion teacher. "I am a vehicle or a helper on the journey to help an individual make an informed decision as to a particular vocation," Pat says. "Part of my vocation is to help discerners find their vocation."

Karen Stemann, Administrative Assistant
Karen Stemann, born in St. Louis, Mo., moved to Louisiana, when she was 16, but she says, "I never quite became a southern belle." After marriage and moving from Louisiana to Texas and then to Kentucky, she and her family settled in the Cincinnati area in 1978. She is married to Jim and has four sons—Mike, David, Brian and Marc. She is a member of Sacred Heart Parish in Fairfield, Ohio. Her interests include painting, gardening, and enjoying the outdoors. "I am very happy to be working here at Glenmary with so many kind and helpful people," she says.
