Faith in the Marketplace
Glenmary Father John Rausch has lived and ministered in the Appalachian region of Eastern Kentucky and Southwestern Virginia for over 40 years. He first served as a mission pastor, then as a regional worker organziing worker co-ops and is now in a special "human econominics ministry." Through his ministry, he blends Glenmary's commitment to serve both spiritual and material needs with his special skills as an economist, educator and writer.
He also writes a monthly column—Faith in the Marketplace—which is distributed to Catholic newspapers across the United States. In his columns, Father John reflects on faith and the national and global marketplace and economy.
