Glenmary Vocation Novena Now Available
The Glenmary Vocation Novena is a very powerful way for anyone to help nurture vocations to missionary priesthood and brotherhood. Prayer is a strong instrument and the traditional novena has been a powerful form of prayer over the centuries.
The Glenmary Vocation Novena allows for several options: You may read the reflections and recommended scripture of the day in your home, in solitary meditation. Or, you may pray the novena in a group. You might include the rosary. Some days you might include the suggested songs, but you are free to add singing as the Spirit moves you.
Hopefully, the novena will affirm your vocational choice as a baptized Christian and give you some insight into the work of Glenmary as you reflect more deeply on God’s personal call to you now and in the future.
The reflections and prayers for the novena were written by Glenmarians and the original artwork was created by Glenmary Father Bruce Brylinski. The novena is under the patronage of St. Isaac Jogues and the North American martyrs, the patrons of Glenmary.
This novena is a way for parishes, prayer groups, religious education classes and other groups to utilize the power of prayer to support vocations.
