April Weekend Mission Trips

Mission trips are an easy way to gain a glimpse of Glenmary and our missions. Through one does not get the indepth experience of a mission placement, the experience of a mission trip offers a come and see opportunity for those who are working. During a mission trip an inquirer is able to visit one or two missions, speak to the missioners involved and see what it is like be in a mission area in rural America.

Glenmary Home Missioners is unique in both the way we express our community life and in the places we serve. These small, but dynamic mission counties are often hard to describe by phone or literature. A brief experience, however, can help one gain greater insight. It also allows the inquirer time with one of the vocation counselors (Kyle Brandon and Father Steve).

The weekends are as follows:

April 11-13 – Visit Formation House in Hartford, KY (meet in Cincinnati, Nashville or Louisville)

April 18-20 – Visit Eastern Kentucky Missions (meet in Cincinnati or Lexington)

April 25-27 – Visit Mississippi Missions (meet in Memphis)
