New Billboard in Cincinnati
 |
For those who drive along Route 4 in Fairfield, Ohio on a regular basis there is now one more billboard to capture their attention. On Dec. 10 a new Glenmary billboard was erected along side the four-lane road that runs in from of Glenmary’s Cincinnati Headquarters.
Route 4 is one of the busiest roads in Ohio stretching from Cincinnati all the way to Sandusky, Ohio. Thousands of cars wait in front of Glenmary’s property for the traffic light to change every day but many have no idea we are there. The Headquarters building and the Glenmary residence sit at the top of a hill, out of sight from the roadway. For many years visitors have told us, “I always wondered what was up that hill!”
We decided to take advantage of that traffic light wait and let people know who we are. Hopefully, this new billboard will stir people’s curiosity to visit us on the Web or in person.
The billboard has an image of a stream of sunlight bursting through the trees as the background and the words say: Glenmary priests and brothers: a light to rural America.
We hope that this billboard will inspire young men to learn about our mission and consider religious life. Does it inspire you? Take a look and tell us what you think.
Go and be a light to others!
