    As a college student in 1969, Jim Kerns spent part of his summer volunteering at a Glenmary mission in Georgia. His experiences, and the Glenmarians he got to know, made an indelible impression on him. In 1973, when he and wife Madeleine were picking a primary charity to support and trust, they chose Glenmary. To this day, they're still supporters.
