Winter 2016 Glenmary Challenge now online
The Winter 2016 edition of Glenmary Challenge magazine has been mailed to subscribers and the electronic version is available for online viewing HERE.
In this issue you'll find a short cover story about Cuthbert, Ga., where a nativity scene has been a source of evangelization, and an occasion for generosity. Editor John Stegeman's column and the Glenmary Glimpse on page 20 also carry a Christmas theme.
Despite the joyous season, life in the mission field goes on, and it isn't always pretty. The lead story comes from Father Vic Subb and talks at length about the challenges faced by the migrant farm workers he has served over the years.
The feature story comes from Frank Lesko, who writes about a Glenmary church that burned to the ground, and how a local Baptist community came to the Catholics aid.
Other stories include tributes to the late Fathers Doc Rademacher and Gus Guppenberger, the sale of the old Glenmary Farm, News and Notes and more.

Glenmary Challenge has three goals: to educate Catholics about the U.S. home missions, to motivate young men to consider Glenmary priesthood or brotherhood, and to invite all Catholics to respond to their baptismal call to be missionary by partnering with Glenmary as financial contributors, prayer partners, professional coworkers and/or volunteers.
