Glenmary student taking Oath.On three landmark days in late May, Glenmary will be celebrating three Oath ceremonies for five of its men in formation. By professing the Glenmary Oath, a man commits himself to the practice of poverty, chastity, obedience and prayer—as well as to his fellow missioners and to the proclamation of the Gospel in rural areas of the United States.

On May 21, seminarian Patrick Muriithi will renew his Oath for the first time.

On May 22, seminarians Charles Aketch and Richard Toboso will profess their First Oaths at a special Mass.

And on May 23, the climax of the three-day period, brothers-in-training Levis Kuwa and Jason Muhlenkamp will take their Final Oaths at a special Mass. It will be the last stage of their commitment on the journey to Glenmary brotherhood.

Father Chet Artysiewicz, Glenmary president, calls the Final Oath ceremony "one of the great highlights of my tenure."

These five individuals are part of a group of 10 men who are currently in formation with Glenmary.
