stained glass window in metter, ga., mission[Georgia] Thanks to the generosity of parishioners, Holy Family mission in Metter, Ga., has two new stained-glass windows.

A donation was initially made to create one window above the altar. But after planning began, mission members soon realized the donation was enough to pay for two windows.

The window above the sanctuary features symbols of the Eucharist, and the other window, placed above the front door, has an image of a dove, representing the Holy Spirit.

“They are beautiful, inspirational additions to our church,” says Sister Mary Bordelon, CDP, pastoral coordinator of Holy Family. The remaining church windows are clear glass.
