II. Jesus Accepts His Cross

Comment By the Artist:

Jesus was in some kind of prison before they
brought him to Pilate and scourged him.
So I used our old jail--we have a different one now--
with the courthouse in the background.

Invitation to Prayer/Reflection:

Lord, in gratitude I accept all suffering. I will make my cross lighter
by thanking God for every blessing, large and small!
