Meet a Glenmary Priest

Father Larry Goulding Grayson, Ky.
Father Larry says there's not much going on in his two South Georgia missions—and in the same breath says he's two weeks behind! Besides nurturing the Catholics in his mission parishes, he is involved with the greater community and provides outreach to the growing Hispanic population in his missions.

Father Bruce Brylinski Louisville, Ga.
An artist, a clown, a puppeteer, a writer. These are descriptions Father Bruce welcomes for himself. They also name the ways he is expanding the very notion of what it means to be a missioner today. Putting the arts at the service of evangelization is his goal.

Father Dennis HollyLafayette, Tennessee
In August 2003 Father Dennis Holly moved to the Macon County, Tenn., county seat, Lafayette, to become the first resident Catholic pastor of the local Catholic Church.
Father John Rausch Stanton, Kentucky
An expert on economics and the Appalachian region, Father John works on justice issues that impact rural communities—and writes a monthly column carried in Catholic papers across the nation.
Father George MathisKingsport, Tennessee
In retirement, Father George is busier than many people half his age, He is putting his artistic abilities to use as a liturgical consultant, helping many rural parishes refurbish, rennovate or build churches.
Father Bob Rademacher Cincinnati, Ohio
At 80 and a senior member, he’s still an activist in Appalachia.
