Call to Mission    November 2007
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Fr. Dominic Duggins It has been a very busy November for me. And now, as I look at the calendar, Thanksgiving is just a few days a way—although the stores and the media seem to have moved on to Christmas! I hope as you gather with family and friends, you have the opportunity pause and say a prayer of thanksgiving for all the blessings in your life. As I gather with my family, know that you and all Glenmary's partners in mission will be remembered in my prayers. Your support means that we Glenmary priests, brothers and coworkers can continue meeting the spiritual and material needs in the home missions. Thank you for all you do for all those we serve!
—Father Dominic Duggins, Development Director
And remember, The Pension Protection Act of 2006 (PPA 2006) is set to expire on Dec. 31, 2007 (unless extended by Congress). The PPA includes a special rule to encourage the use of IRAs for charitable gifts.
