The members of Christ the King Church in Scottsville, Ky., have been worshipping in their new church building for three months—and the novelty hasn't worn off. As Father Dennis Holly told the congregation, what looked to be impossible just three years ago became a reality through prayer and hard work.

Recently, the poultry plant in Danville, Ark., closed its doors, leaving over 600 people in the area unemployed. The members of Glenmary's St. Andrew mission, led by Brother David Henley, have organized a food pantry to help those families in need.

Father Steve Pawelk, the director of Glenmary's Vocation Office, spends a lot of time on the road, and his efforts directed at keeping Glenmary's vocation program moving forward are paying off. Currently there are 11 men in formation and others aspiring to join them. According to Father Steve, the success has a lot to do with trust in God and prayer!

Pat and Patti Donohue have spent their lives supporting organizations with their time, talent and treasure. As active donors, the couple has also chosen to make a bequest to Glenmary as a way to ensure Glenmary's home mission ministry continues into the future.
