Preparing for Christmas. As the old
year ends
and we prepare for new beginnings, I feel so
blessed
that Glenmary continues to make a difference thanks
to your support. That support helps Brother Joe Steen
and all our missioners continue helping those
in need.
In thanksgiving, I invite you to send us
the intentions you would like us to remember
in our
Glenmary Christmas Novena which begins on Dec.
16. As the days of anticipation lead us to the
celebration of Christ's birth, may the peace
and hope
of the Christ Child be yours throughout the
Christmas
season and the New Year!

Director

Young and Catholic in the home missions
Children growing up in Glenmary missions find refuge from the greater community that asks them questions like: 'Do Catholics celebrate Christmas?' Read the stories of three such children, now adults, whose lives continue to reflect the values they learned growing up in a Glenmary mission. |

Ripley Mission Has the Christmas Float to Beat
Sister Kate Regan and the members of Glenmary's mission in Ripley, Miss., take part in the area's annual Christmas parade and produced the award-winning Christmas float for the past five years. The parade is just one of the ways they let the local community know "we're here." |
