CINCINNATI, Ohio - El Reto Glenmary, the annual Spanish-language magazine of Glenmary Home Missioners, is in the mail for subscribers and is now available online for the first time.

Readers can view El Reto online by visiting Glenmary.org/ViewCurrentIssue and scrolling down past the Summer 2017 English edition. To inquire about receiving a limited quantity of print copies, contact John Stegeman

El Reto was first published in 2015 as part of Glenmary's efforts to reach a broader audience, especially among those whose primary language is Spanish. The stories in the 2017 El Reto have been translated from the preceding year's English-language quarterly magazine, Glenmary Challenge.

The 16-page periodical includes three feature-length stories, a column by Glenmary's president, general information about Glenmary and links to more information on Glenmary's website.

In 2016 Glenmary's executive council approved the creation of an El Reto advisory board to recommend improvements and potential expansion of the magazine.
