Elizabeth Dudas, Consultant for the Development of Ministry, is offering two new Days of Reflection to Glenmary parishes in time for the New Year!

1. Abundant Blessings…and How to Write Your Own explores how we participate in this natural and human experience. Participants will reflect on:

—What it means to be blessed
—The “magic” of blessing
—Special times and seasons for blessing
—How to write your own blessings

Blessing and being blessed is something that we share with all people of faith. Glenmary churches are urged to extend an invitation to others to share in this wonderful, enriching and uplifting time!

2. The Growing Challenge: Grandparents Raising Grandchildren. Responding to those who are caring for grandchildren either because of economic necessity or the absence of parents, Elizabeth Dudas will lead participants in identifying the surprises and the burdens they experience.

While grandparents have always helped raise grandchildren, today 2.4 million grandparents have the primary responsibility for them. There are probably some of these folks in your parish and your town. This is an ideal opportunity to extend an open invitation to anyone interested!
