Advertising the Parish Web Site

Looking for ways to get the word out locally that your church has a Web site? Put the parish’s Web address on the church sign! That’s what Immaculate Conception Church in Hugo, Okla., did when they installed a new church sign.

Other ways identified by Sister Susan Pontz, SS.C.M., to advertise your parish Web site:
• Pencils to give away
• Business cards
• Information available at local motels
• Church letterhead and stationery
• On your Catholic Church signs at the highway entrances into town
• Buttons for parishioners to wear
• Newspaper articles when the site is launched or updated
• Lavalieres with the church name and web address
• Parish Bulletin letterhead
• Welcome information given by the church or Chamber of Commerce
• Church envelopes
