Seven BE attitudes for Evangelizing Together

While we recognize that the Catholic approach to evangelization is
different from other Christian churches, we see a value in working
together to evangelize whenever feasible. Here are seven BE
- attitudes.. You may want to add others from your own local experience.
BE willing to listen and seek to understand the faith experiences
of others.
BE willing to share your own faith in Jesus and your values.
BE willing to ask clarifying questions.
BE willing to allow each other the freedom to disagree on some
issues as you try to cooperate on others.
BE willing to begin with small, relatively low-risk projects.
BE willing to eventually confront the difficult, high-risk
issues.
BE clear about the groups long-term and short-term goals
for each project.
Most importantly, PRAY TOGETHERfor evangelizing ecumenically
is a long-term process!
