CCA releases DVD, study guide on climate change
[West Virginia] The Catholic Committee of Appalachia (CCA) has released “Climate Change: Our Faith Response,” a 10-minute DVD intended for use in religious education classes or RCIA and adult enrichment classes. A study guide accompanies the DVD.
The DVD is funded in part by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops and was produced from video footage of speakers who took part in a 2007 teleconference focusing on climate change.
Glenmary Father John Rausch is the director of CCA and says he hopes the DVD “raises awareness that creation is a precious gift from God and that humanity has a moral obligation to be active, good stewards of that gift.”
