75 Years of Home Mission Ministry
Thanks be to God!
The weekend of Oct. 18-19, the Glenmary family of missioners, coworkers, donors and friends gathered in Cincinnati to give thanks to God for Glenmary's 75 years of home mission ministry. In those 75 years, missioners and coworkers have had the privilege of successfully establishing more than 100 missions in counties without a Catholic Church presence throughout Mission Land, USA.
But we also gather knowing that there is still much work to be done to fulfill Father Bishop's dream the the Church be present and known in every U.S. county.
Thank you to all those who, over the decades, have made it possible for Glenmarians to devote their lives to our ministry "as true ambassadors of Jesus Christ, true messengers and servants of God among God's people," just as Father Bishop intended.
And a special thanks to all those who have made gifts in honor of our 75th anniversary. We are truly blessed to have such dedicated partners in mission, including those who have helped sponsor our anniversary dinner at the following levels:
